Summer Fun… Fairs, Festivals and Farmers’ Markets in Bu

With the dawn of spring, our thoughts slip to summer
holidays spent with family and friends, a long walk in the sunshine, a
sip of homemade lemonade, and summer vacation adventures.  It is also a
time for the local fair, farmers markets, and local festivals… Here is a
sampling of what is to come in the next few weeks in Bucks County.

art 2nd Annual Doylestown Art Days

Doylestown
Art Days is a 4-day art extravaganza pairing over 80 businesses with
local student, emerging and professional artists. Please join us as we
turn our town into a giant art gallery from June 4th – June 7th. For

firstfriday First Fridays on the Delaware

The
quaint and historic riverfront town of Bristol Borough will be hosting
First Fridays June through September. This fun, interactive event will
include: live music, beer garden at the Historic King George II Inn,
free family fun entertainment, performances by Stepping Stone Dance
Studio and the Bristol High Drama Club, an art walk along with tours of
the newly opened Bristol Borough Center for the Arts and more…

Each
Thursday, Friday & Saturday the market is bustling with the sights,
sounds and smells of 16 vendors all under one roof, bringing you a
wonderful blend of fresh delicious foods, ethnic foods and foods unique
to Dutch country, with Amish vendors bringing Lancaster County goodness
for you to enjoy.

Welcome to the Market!
Every Saturday morning from spring to fall our vendors are happy to
present you with an opportunity to buy healthy locally grown and
produced items. Most of our 35+ vendors are within 15 miles of the
Market, so be a Locator with us. We are a local producer-only market
sponsored by the Buckingham Township Civic Association, which started
the Market in 1975.

This
year’s event marks the 46th year of Yardley Harvest Day. It began as a
celebration of the Borough, along with crafters, entertainment and food,
an event for the whole family.
 The Yardley Harvest Day Committee is proud to present the 46th
Annual Yardley Harvest Day, located in Downtown Yardley Borough and is
one of the Borough’s most treasured traditions.  The event is scheduled,
rain or shine, on Saturday, September 19th from 10a.m. to 5 p.m.  along
Canal Street in the same location it has been for years. Once again,
Yardley Harvest Day will emphasize the many unique aspects of living,
dining, socializing, shopping, working and enjoying one of Bucks
County’s most historic and best communities.

grange67th Middletown Grange Fair

The
Grange is a grassroots, non-partisan, non-sectarian, fraternal
organization with its roots in agriculture. The Grange has been
preserving the traditions that have made America a strong and caring
country. Our largest, and most labor intensive, also most fun filled,
event is our Grange Fair held in August of each year.   Join our
community as we come together to enjoy fun, good food, entertainment,
and appreciate the talents of our neighbors as they enter over 4200
items ranging from cows to quilts.
