A couple of
days ago on the news, they were doing a story on celebrating National Dress Up
Your Pet Day today. That got me thinking – we really should celebrate our pets!
I’m of
course not asking you to dress your pet up in funky clothes (unless you want to
of course), but show them some appreciation today. Give them an extra treat,
some extra snuggle time, or maybe even take your dog for an extra long walk.
You may not appreciate the cold, but your dog just might really enjoy the extra
time outdoors – and with you.
For some,
our pets are like children. We cater to them. We treat them like family – and
they are family for many of us.
Make today
a little extra special for your pets. It doesn’t matter what kind of pet you
have. Just spend some extra time with them. Or, if you feel the calling, dress
them up, take a photo, and save it for your memories of your special friend.
